With 20 years of experience, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual and couple. My work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems, and attachment theory.
Above all, I believe effective therapy begins with a trusting and supportive relationship. Therapy should be a safe place where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. Whatever brings you to therapy, I will meet you with support and work alongside you to create the changes you want in your life.

Anxiety counseling can help you understand and manage persistent worry, fear, panic, compulsions, negative self-talk, and the physical symptoms associated with anxiety. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight into your patterns, and develop practical strategies for creating lasting change.
My approach includes a technique I call “processing and practicing.” During processing, we explore the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that may be contributing to your anxiety. We may work through anxiety-provoking situations and look beneath the immediate fear to better understand what is driving it.
Practicing involves applying the tools and strategies you learn in therapy to situations in your everyday life. Together, we work toward reducing anxiety’s control over your life and building your confidence in handling difficult thoughts, feelings, and situations.
Every relationship is unique and brings its own strengths and challenges. Although sex and money are often described as the most common sources of conflict, the greatest difficulty I see between couples is a breakdown in communication.
My work with couples is grounded in communication, compromise, and equality. I maintain a balanced perspective and do not take sides. I am fair, objective, and direct while helping both partners feel heard and understood.
Together, we will identify unhealthy patterns, communication breakdowns, and behaviors that may be keeping your relationship stuck. While we may explore the past to better understand these patterns and support healing, our work will remain focused on creating meaningful changes that can move your relationship forward.
Addiction can take many forms, including alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling, video games, and unhealthy relationship patterns. Breaking free from substance use or compulsive behaviors can be complex and may be one of the most difficult challenges a person faces.
Many people spend years feeling trapped in painful, repeating cycles before they are ready to seek support. Wherever you are in that process, you do not have to face it alone or be judged for what brought you here.
Together, we can explore the patterns underlying your addiction, strengthen your motivation for change, and develop practical tools for recovery. I am here to support you as you work toward greater freedom, stability, and control in your life.
Life coaching can help you move toward the life you want when you feel uncertain, stuck, or unable to make progress on your own. Although coaching may share some elements with therapy, it is primarily focused on identifying your goals, clarifying your values, and creating practical steps toward meaningful change.
Together, we can explore what matters most to you, identify the barriers holding you back, and develop a clearer sense of purpose and direction. The goal is to help you build a life that feels more intentional, fulfilling, and aligned with who you want to be.
In my 20 years of working with parents of adult children, I have seen several common challenges. One is the lasting bond between a parent and child—a connection shaped by deep love, even when the relationship becomes strained or complicated.
Another challenge is adjusting as your child moves from dependence to independence. You may find yourself wondering, “Am I still a parent, a friend, or both?” This transition can make it difficult to know when to offer guidance, when to step back, and how to stay connected while respecting your child’s independence.
Boundaries can also become complicated. Uncertainty about your role may lead to guilt, conflict, resentment, or enabling behaviors. Whatever your situation, I can help you establish healthy boundaries, better understand your changing role, and move toward greater peace and confidence in your relationship with your adult child.
